Hello,

Robert and I have been raising suri alpacas since 1998. Our farm, Capital Alpacas, is located on a five acre estate in Vienna, Virginia (Spitting Distance from the National Capital Beltway).

We chose our foundation females for beauty, conformation, and fleece luster. We selected breeding partners to enhance these features. At this time we have a solid breeding program that consistently produces beautiful suri alpacas with sound conformation and exceptionally lustrous fleece.

Robert is a mathematician in the defense industry in addition to being an alpaca farmer. In a previous life he managed the electron spectroscopy lab for the Zettlemoyer Center for Surface Studies at Lehigh University.

Patricia is an alpaca farmer in addition to being an operations research analyst in the defense industry. In her previous life, she was an engineering physicist doing optics research at a medical device manufacturing company, and taught college level physics classes including optics.

Capital Alpacas, LLC is a member in good standing with the Better Business Bureau of the Greater Washington Area. We adhere to the principals and standards of the BBB.
