Fiber To Fashion 2008

This machine knit scarf (above) won 2nd Place in the 2008 AOBA Fiber Arts competion. The finger weight yarn was spun by hand from Cassidy's fleece. Beads adorned with South American art are attached at each end. Each end is also finished with a fine fringe.

The lace T-shirt (above right) won 1st Place at the AOBA Fiber Arts show in 2008. The yarn was hand spun from Cassidy's fleece. It was knit on a Brothers knitting machine. My good friend Cheryl creates this wonderful knitted garments.

This Multi-color striped scarf (right) won 2nd Place at the 2008 AOBA Fiber to Fashion Conference in the Fiber Arts Competition. It is made from hand-spun medium-weight yarn in fawn, white and grey. The Scarf is Hand Crochted with a chain stitch in a fish net pattern. My sister Cathie crocheted the scarf.

This hand woven scarf (right) won 2nd Place in the 2008 AOBA Fiber to Fashion Conference in the Fiber Arts Competition. I separated the natural colors in Darwin's fleece and spun finger weight yarn in three shades of fawn. Each end is finished with a fine fringe.

The crocheted skull cap (below) won 2nd Place in the Fiber Arts at 2008 AOBA Fiber To Fashion Conference. The hat is crocheted from hand spun singles. Darwin donated the fleece for me to spin and my sister Cathie crocheted the hat.
