Capital Alpacas' Amelia Earhart

Capital Alpacas' Amelia Earhart was born on 18 July 2009 to Capital Alpacas' Lilly and Maximillian. Her colors range from taupe on her head and neck, to light and medium fawn. She has a hint of Max's chevron on her neck and white on her right rear leg.

Amelia Earhart
took 2nd place at the 2010 Virginia Classic Walking Futurity
and
3rd place at the 2010 Virginia Classic Alpaca Alpaca Show in her class Juvenile Suri Female.

Capital Alpacas won 2nd place at the 2010 Virginia Classic Alpaca Alpaca Show in Suri Breeders Best Three.  Cassandra, Amelia Earhart, and Max Born represented Capital Alpacas.

Amelia Aerhart's name sake Amelia Mary Earhart is an American aviation pioneer and author. Amelia Earhart was the first woman to receive the U.S. Distinguished Flying Cross, awarded for becoming the first female to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean. She was born on July 24, 1897 and disappeared doing what she liked to best 1937.
